Casey Lessard’s portraiture and candid photojournalism have earned acclaim locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
Residents of Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada know his work as publisher of one of Ontario’s best small newspapers, the Grand Bend Strip.
As a photographer and writer, he has won numerous provincial and national awards through OCNA and CCNA competitions. Casey was named the Ontario Community Newspaper Association’s second best photographer in 2007, 2008 and 2010.
In 2010, Casey was named by Scott Bourne of PhotoFocus as a finalist for his Emerging Photographer of the Year competition.
